In church we are talking about being rich....not with money, but in life. I am a very blessed person, therefore I am rich. A good verse we are discussing is 1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NIV)which reads:
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put
their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
My family is so incredibly amazing. I'm so wonderfully blessed with them all.... even the recent added ones (Daria and now little Klara). I couldn't be more thankful for my parents and how they raised me. They are so loving and caring which makes it so easy to be open with them. My Dad is an inspiration to me. He taught me to take risks and to work hard at the things I love. My mom is my christian role model (among other things). She always motivates me in my walk with God. I've learned many things about my relationship with God through her encouragement. I'm so blessed that they raised me in a christian home. I have an amazing brother who married the sweetest Polish girl in the world. I'm so happy I've gotten closer with them these pass years. It's funny to say this (only because he's my little brother), but they are a wonderful model of how a marriage should be.... full of unconditional love and compromise. I told Daria today, that aside from being my favorite sister-in-law (hehe) she's one of my best friends. Also, I'm so thankful for my beautiful, healthy, new niece. The whole family is blessed with that little one.

And last but not least... Lydia. She's the best sister a girl could have. Crazy and silly... making me laugh all the time. Every girl wants a sister, let alone a little sister you can help dress up and watch over. That little ballerina is better than I was at her age. I love to watch her grow and become a lady. I still remember the time when I was really depressed and crying... Lydia looked at me with tears in her eyes and told me I was beautiful and amazing. Still brings tears to my eyes. I love her to bits. There's a strong love between my family and I... and no matter where life takes us (even if its different countries)we will always be close.
I'm also thankful for a job that I love and that allows me to live on my own. I don't have to get a side stupid job to support me, I can teach dance and only teach dance... with benefits, an apartment, and a car.
I'm thankful for my best friend Brittany. I always new I was lucky to have her in my life, but recently I've realized it even more. No other person/friend goes out of their way for me, makes me feel special, and is there for me at a drop of a hat like she is. She's my adopted sister who I love extremely. I don't know how I would have survived some tough times without her. I've have the best times with her laughing and goofing off. I'm blessed to know her.
I'm thankful for all my friends and the new ones I'm making now. I know some of the coolest people! Many of them are moving away and getting married, but where ever life takes them I hope that they are blessed.
