I go to Bright Horizons daycare on Tuesday mornings. I teach kids about 4-5 years old. This past Tuesday I was playing a game called "Juice Machine" with the kids. You start the game by reaching up and stretching to pick fruit on the tops of trees. So, I go around asking each child what fruit they want to pick. One kid says apples, another watermelons, someone says blue peaches.... it's all good. I get to Mirra. "Macaroni" she says. I ask if she wants to pick a fruit instead... but no, she wanted to pick macaroni.

Oh, and once I heard a little boy call his mom a "beautiful scarecrow". how nice :)
