Burn Brae Camp is over!

8 weeks FLEW by....

I'm done working a Burn Brea Day Camp. Friday was my last day. We played this game before lunch called "Kangaroo Court". All week the kids were putting things that the counselors could be accused for. Either funny or nice things were accepted. Then all the campers sat around the pool as each counselor was read their "charges". The campers then scream guilty or not guilty. If you were guilty, then you had to jump into the pool with all your clothes on. My turn came up and by far I got the loudest cheers. I was accused of two things. First, it was for dancing too much. Dave was about to read the second one, but first said, "This next one is the first time someone has ever been accused here at Burn Brae Camp!" My second charge was for being the best dancer teacher ever at Burn Brea!! (yes!) All the campers screamed "GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY!" And I gracefully jumped in, slashing as many of the campers on the side as possible.

I was so happy to hear all the compliments from the parents at Arts Fest. One parent told me that she's been coming here for 5 years to see her daughter dance and this year was the best. Lisa, the director, told me my choreography was the best she's seen at camp for a long time. She wants me back next year. Also I was shocked to received tips from parents. The kids who rode with me to camp gave me gifts too.
