M.I.A.

Yeah....

Over a month since my last post. I have been lacking considerably on the blog posts. For those of you who waiting all this time (probably no one....ha) I'm posting finally! I've been pretty busy since my last post.

Let's start with August!
The beginning of August started with Jed breaking his foot and my Dance Teacher's Conference in NYC. The conference would have been better if I wasn't in pain with the shell injury. I did get to take 2 classes with Mandy Moore from "So You Think You Can Dance". I'm so out of shape that many of the classes I did get to take were over my head. Jed did come with me, so it was nice to have the company.

Since Jed's foot was broke, he didn't have to go with the team on road trips. Therefore, we've been spending tons of time together which was not expected!!  After the conference we went to the beach in NJ, kayaking in MD, and lots of quality time together in Lancaster. The only downside to this injury was his parents did not end up visiting like planned. So I still haven't met them. Jed can walk fine, he just can't run, hit, or throw!

Jed and I have done some camping also. We went to Colonial Denning State Park: where Jed was convicted a large animal was outside our tent at one point; and French Creek State Park: where we busted up a frisbee pretty bad on some trees around the frisbee golf course. Both times were great and we're hoping to get a group together to go again sometime in the fall.

Labor Day weekend, Patrick and Daria came to visit us in Lancaster. We had a nice time without the baby (even though I missed her very much). We hope to hang out with them again.

I, also, starting taking ballet classes at Eastern University again. Since, taking outside classes is a part of the 180 Dance contract I needed to find something. Good old Joselli Deans came to my financial rescue.

So that was the good news....

In other news, my Grandma (Genevieve Babal) passed away today. She was in the hospital since Wednesday because of a stroke. Jed and I are making our way to Johnstown tomorrow to be with the family. There's one less Genevieve in the world..... but there's one more dancing in Heaven now.

<3 Love you Gram <3 R.I.P.
