I can not deny Him.
He has been so evident in my life lately. I was thinking about all that has happen this year....things that can't even be explained as coincidental. 2010 has been the year of letting go and completely trusting God. Amazing things has happened. He has come through ever single time. What a testimonial. I really wanted to sit down and write these stories down.
First... the Jed stories.
If you're reading this you probably know the crazy story of how we ended up meeting! Jed happened to be driving from Lancaster to Philadelphia down route 30 when he recognized me from the side of the road in Wayne.... Never meeting until that moment. CRAZY! I might be able to think that was coincidental, because it's a single story. However, combine it with the park ranger the day of our engagement, you have a God guided situation.
This park ranger drove out into the field to try and stop Jed from setting up. He told Jed to leave. At this point Jed was pleading with him, but he wasn't giving in. My brother recognized the ranger and asked him "Did you go to High School in Johnstown?". He did. That just happened to be the same high school I attended. So when they asked the him if he knew Genevieve Adams, he said "Yeah!, we went to school together.", and went from stopping the show to shaking Jed's hand.
Really?!?! 4 hours away, a completely different town 200 plus miles away, and this ranger knew me?!? I fully believe Jed is the one I'm supposed to be with. Too many God interventions. God's taken care of us "fo sho" (put that in there for Jed, ha).
Second... Family stories.
Before I start, I want to say this: PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Many of you have heard the story of my parents and the danger of their house foreclosing. My Dad had some bad business luck which cause the bankruptcy. The bank has been threatening to take the house for 2 years. So stressful for my parents. It's been a battle with faith and trust that has tested them to their fullest. I've seen some of the lowest of lows and highest of highs. Long story short... With my Grandma's recent passing, the bank has decided to make a trade. The day before Thanksgiving (coincidental???), the bank called and said they would take my Gram's house instead of theirs. WOOOOWHO!!!! Finally the waiting game is over. It's solved. Really, this is a miracle!! SO, thankful.
Then the little stuff...
Like my shell injury. The doctor said I needed surgery and would be out for 2 months. Dancing is my work. I don't dance, I don't make money. In the parking lot of the doctor's office, I prayed. I told God that He needs to move that shell away. At this point I was in a lot of pain for 2 months with nothing getting better or healing. Within a couple weeks after that decision to completely trust God, it stopped hurting.
How can I ever be worried about anything? Even if the outcome isn't amazingly coincidental or a miracle, I should trust that God has everything in His control. He has proven Himself to me many many times this year. I'm confident He's working in my life and guiding me through life.
PRAISE GOD.
