Thursday we enjoyed the "Movie Tavern". You can sit down to a movie and order food like a restaurant. The seats were huge and very comfortable. It was nice to have a date night out, because we are running on limited time. Soon we won't be able to do much of those outings. We went to see "The Descendants" which was very good.
Friday.... I don't remember what we did on Friday. We just enjoyed being husband and wife ;)
Saturday was shopping day. We've been holding out on getting things with an Ikea gift card from the wedding. It came later (like a month or so after the wedding) and we got everything we needed before then. However, with the baby coming, there's a few things we wanted to get. We went to get a rug and a leaf canopy. We've been eying up this leaf things for a year now. I just couldn't justify getting it without a purpose. It's not much of a "grown up" type of decoration. With a baby coming, it was the perfect reason. They also had super cheap hampers. We also got some plastic plates and bowls, and a paper lantern. Stopped at Target for the crib bedding (couldn't wait for the baby shower, plus was on sale in stores). The nursery looks awesome.
Sunday is superbowl with Ann and Pete. I think none of us are super excited to watch the game, but it's a good excuse to hang out.
Next stop animation to be made tomorrow.... Episode 2 of Sheep & Friends.
