Jonah- Almost 15 months!

So, I over heard Brittany telling another friend that tantrums are a sign of a developmental leap a couple weekends ago. Up until that point, Jonah was his happy normal self. After that weekend, however, Jonah turned into this frustrated, short tempered young boy that wanted to do everything himself. Tantrums left and right.... out of no where. Not like Jonah AT ALL. Boy, I hope Brittany's right!! But it does make sense.... think about it. Sometimes it takes extreme frustration to conquer something new even as adults. Not being able to communicate what you want can be highly frustrating. Throw teething on top of that and you got one miserable toddler.

Jonah is in the process of getting all four of the canines (fang teeth) and still one more molar. His whole mouth was swollen at one point. He wasn't eating very well at all. His been eating alot of baby food and smoothies. Finally the top fangs broke through this weekend, as well as the one molar. I think he's feeling better, but now we both have colds. Poor kid sounds like an aged smoker, coughing and sounding raspy... He's a trooper though, a side from an occasional tantrum, he's his playful active self. We spent most of Saturday cuddling an watching cartoons when I was awake. Jed took care of him while I slept it off in bed. Sunday, I was feeling better so we went on a picnic at Valley Forge. I think I did too much though, because today I feel like crap again. Jed got poison ivy last week and it looks like he spread it to Jonah's back. Again... that kid is a trooper.

Baby talk fills our house these days. All of a sudden, Jonah decided it was time to join the conversation instead of screaming at us and saying "ah-ee, ah-ee, ah-ee" a million times. This kid wants to talk and "talks" constantly. It's hilarious. I try to repeat it sometimes, but forget it. It's a foreign language. I captured a little of film.  So adorable.
