I've been smiling alot more these days.

In other news....

My Jobs:
AIS gave me a bonus. Not sure why. Maybe a holiday bonus? I'm not complaining. An extra 200 some dollars is always welcome. I was bummed out that I didn't receive a raise this year, but maybe they decided to do bonuses instead. I bought some christmas presents with it already.

UMDGC gave me a .75 cent raise the other day. They emailed me to tell me that they were very thankful for my hard work and decided to give me a raise. Plus I'm doing private lessons there with a pointe girl. She pays me $35 for a 45 min session.

Contempradance is being difficult. My second pay check was for the wrong amount again. Gail is being weird/mean and I really think that next year I'm not going to work for her. UMDGC almost gave me all their ballet classes, plus I can work the office for them. I don't need to work at Contempra. Plus, Lisa Welsh (director of Vive) wants me to teach some at her studio.

Me:
I hurt my side again in the same place I injured it back in college. I've hurt it several times since it happened, however, this time it's not going away. I've been told by some nurse/doctor friends that I should get an MRI. I can't dance much, because of the pain. I think I might call my doctor today or tomorrow about. Also, my ear won't stop popping. Ever since the airplane ride and the difficulty I had with it, every time I swallow it pops.

Last weekend:
Jed was over. We had plans to pick apples and make apple pie, but the rain was miserable. We had Christine and Dan over for dinner. We had a GREAT time. Jed went up to the bathroom and Dan turned to me to say "I really like him, Gen." Which is funny, because its the girls who usually say something. Then Chris added, "Yeah me too and we can tell your so much more happier too." Jed's such a gentleman. I've been smiling alot more these days. I'm so happy he's coming to thanksgiving in Connecticut and then New years in Johnstown. It will be nice to have someone with me during the holidays. I didn't get that before. I know he'll get along with everyone too, so no worries there.
