Praises.

So I was getting so consumed with fear after thinking about the possibility that Jonah wouldn't out live me. It was completely from the Devil, because it sounds so silly to me now. Why in the world would I think that was going to happen. The Devil feeds us lies. I was having an open discussion about it with God and saying that this is my fear now... Help! Because it's consuming me.

Then like a brick to the back of the head, God spoke to me loud and clear. He reminded me of the story of Abraham. God told Abraham to sacrifice his son. A son that was given to him through a miracle. When Abraham was just about to kill him, God stopped him. It was just a test (which he passed with flying colors). I immediately felt at peace. All my fear disappeared... God is not a God of fear. I never think about it anymore. Praise God for setting me free.

Another thing that's been on my heart is that I've always wanted to do something for the victims of sex trafficking, but when I began to read the stories of these children I was grieving so hard that it affected my own life. I had to stop thinking about it all together. It was ruining my intimacy and I hated being reminded of the horrible awful things. Well, all was wonderful after I put in out of my mind completely.

Now, our church is doing a series called "censored". It's mostly about troubles with pornography, but also deals with the good Godly part of sexuality. I've come to the conclusion that I am supposed to do something with these victims. God doesn't want me to sacrifice one for the other. I'm supposed to have a good healthy relationship with my husband (it's a God given gift!!) AND be able to help these girls if I'm called too by God. I've started thinking about helping again and so far it's had no effect on how I relate with Jed. Praise God once again.

Ok and now... you all are dying to know how Sweet Pea is!

He is growing so smart day by day it baffles me. He understands the purpose of toys and acting does it correctly. He's babbling more. He's standing on his own without holding on to things. He has 8 teeth now. His favorite food is avocados and oranges. Here's the recent videos and pictures.

We love looking at all the pictures and videos on the blog. Jonah is growing just so fast, and we would be missing so much without them. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.
I think the most endearing video to me was Jonah and his "cousin" standing at the window. Jonah was a very interested audience for the other little boy :) Jonah was really taking in all he did!!
So cute!!!! watching for the walking video......
Praying hard for such a sweet and healthy family.
Thank you, Jesus
