Thanks Lydia

On Saturday my sister Lydia came over to babysit Jonah. I was nervous about it and almost canceled because Jonah has been acting weird. He stopped sleeping through the night and wakes up multiple times. The past two nights before, he woke up at 10. I knew Lydia was nervous about dealing with him if he woke up.

However, I had a challenging week with Jonah and also going back to work (tired and stressed). I needed some grown up time. So we went ahead as planned.

Jed and I went to a sushi buffet for dinner, which was amazing. We LOVE this place, but it's pricey. I tried many new sushi favors. Jed and I actually had a conversation, haha. Then we headed to Swingkat for the Boilermakers band and some swing dancing. When I was pregnant, Jed went to swing lessons alone. I thought that was so sweet, but we haven't had the chance to go together since. We had such a good time! Seeing Jed have so much fun while we were there made me so incredibly happy. We laughed the whole time. He's the best dance partner I ever had, hands down. Jed told me he would like to get really good at it and practice at home. How did I end up with him? He's prefect!

We never got a text from Lydia which we were surprised. We left around 11:45pm. When we got home Lydia told us that he woke up around 11:30. She fed him a bottle and put him back to bed like a champ! He went right to sleep after. She did an awesome job and we are so thankful she is willing to help occasionally!
