Jonah received his first pair of gDiapers in the mail the other day. The outside is a cloth cover called gPants. Inside there is a waterproof lining that snaps in and out for easy washing. We have biodegradable inserts (kinda looks like a maxi pad) that you insert into the diaper. You can then flush, compost, or throw away the insert when changing. Less waste for the planet!! The liner and cover are reusable, but when it gets dirty you just throw it into the wash. You can also use prefolds (which we have some) or buy their cloth inserts if you wanted to go that way.
I'll let you know how it goes, but they are super cute! He has this gray one and a yellow one right now. We would have had a packet of one red and one orange, but Babies R'Us sent us red and hot pink by mistake... so we have to return those and get some more boyish colors :)

Jonah decided to poop in one while we were out. Since he's eating rice cereal it was alittle thicker than normal. It was an ok change. The liner was dirty, but the cover was perfectly dry... no leaks. So they held up to a poop. I just need a system with changing a poopy gDiaper.
