We had a nice get together at our house around noon. Amanda and Ryan, Amy and Kara, and Britt and Dan all showed up for hot dogs and corn on the cob. All except Brittany had not met Jonah yet.
That night we enjoyed the Philly fireworks from the Herrman's roof top deck. Jonah slept through the entire party! I saw fireworks that I've never seen before, which was awesome.
Breastfeeding still sucks. Just when it was almost done hurting, it hurts more than it did in a long time. Jonah has a rash all over his face and body. He also developed some cradle cap. I get so sad when I look at him. The doctor said that the rash may be from laundry detergent. I started working again. Two classes on Mondays (ballet 4 and modern 2) and one class on Tuesdays (ballet 3). My knees are shot and my back is so tight. Everything else seems the same. Not sure I can handle 180 dance, but I'm going to at least try.
Jed is amazingly helpful. He took care of the baby the whole night last night, so that I could sleep a little bit better. He used some expressed milk via bottles. Breastfeeding hurts the most at night.... not sure why.
I feel like my milk supply has drastically changed. I used to have an over supply and now I feel like I'm not making enough to fill up Jonah. This is really bumming me out. There are sometimes where I go to pump and hardly anything comes out. No matter how long he nurses, he still feels hungry. Today was the first day I nursed him and then tried some formula. He drank the whole bottle (2.5oz) after he finished breastfeeding. I have a super hungry baby.... I just wish that breast milk could be enough.
