Trip to Johnstown

Our trip to Johnstown was such a nice treat! On the way out, Jonah slept the entire ride. For me, it was especially nice to have the help of my family. I was able to shower, actually eat a meal, and swim in the pool (even though I wasn't supposed to swim yet. It was so hot!). Jed stayed the weekend and we played a lot of bat-mitten, because my parents still had the net up from Lydia's graduation party. Jed went home to work while Jonah and I stayed 5 extra days.
The nights were pretty crazy taking care of Jonah alone, but my mom was there to help if I got overwhelmed (which did happen). Jonah was so excited to meet his cousins (shhh, I know what he's thinking even if he can't talk!).
I had a nice date night with Daria. We went out for sushi and drinks. Our trip was cut a little short on the count of both babies screaming at home. Daria and I also went to get our hair cut where they talked me into getting bangs.
My mom and dad drove Jonah and I home on Friday. Jonah woke up once, but I brought a bottle to feed himin the car. My parents stayed the night so they were able to babysit on Saturday. Jed and I went on a little date to float down the Brandywine in some inner tubes. We brought our own tubes to the Northbrook Canoe Company in West Chester. They transported us up the river for 5 dollars. It did end up being long and we did get alittle cold by the end. It would have been better if the sun stay out.
