Growth Spurt

Lately Jonah likes to hum me a song while he's trying to eat. He will take three sucks and starts humming. When's he's finished he will eat again. It takes longer to eat because he's trying to talk plus looking all around. He's distracted frequently. He will pop off and look at something or talk and then find himself back on to nurse when he's ready. Yesterday and today is a growth spurt so with all the humming and looking around I feel like all we are doing is nursing.

I wish I could say breastfeeding is pain free but it's not. It is more manageable. I started breastfeeding at night again. I was doing bottles but with him only waking up once and it feeling better it's just easier. With the company we've been having and no need for bottles I've stopped pumping for the time being.
