I'm doing 30 Days of Thankfulness this month. Since I'm a day late, I'll post two things.
1. My parents. After Jonah was born I've learned alot about love in a different way. I've never felt this kind of compassion and love before I had Jonah and I know my parents had this kind towards me. I've realized the work it takes to raise a child also. I try to imagine me as a little baby... my parents cuddling and loving me as I grew. I'm so grateful that they are mine and I'm theirs. God couldn't have blessed me with a better family.
Which leads me to my siblings....
2. My little brother and my little sister. Even though I can't imagine being pregnant again and birthing another child, I know that I wouldn't want to deny Jonah of having any siblings. I'm grateful that I had some playmates to grow up with and my sibling experience has brought me much joy. Even though there are times were sibling revery gets the best of us, I know that our love for each other runs deep. Now that I'm older and we are starting our own personal lives, I'm grateful that we still love hanging out and seeing each other. I wouldn't trade Patrick or Lydia for anyone else in the world. Patrick gave me the best sister-in-law, niece, and nephew I could ever imagine. I'm sure Lydia will do the same some day. I enjoy sharing the Eastern experience and love of dance with my sister as well.
