Wow... God is so amazing!

This blog is the best story ever. http://youwereborninourhearts.blogspot.com It's a story about a couple's journey with adoption. She's a relative of a friend of mine down in Maryland.

God is so incredibly amazing. I thought Jed and I had a crazy story about meeting and everything falling into place, but this story trumps it all. How can anyone deny there is a God after hearing something like this?? There are too many coincidences and incredible timing. Every time I read an entry, I find myself bawling over the awesome power of my Lord.  I'm so in love with Him. It's teaching me to let go and let God... I've been too burdened with worrying this entire month. Worrying about Jonah's health and our job schedules.... I need to let God work in our lives and just trust him. He has never failed me.

The entry I read today:

"She and I always refer to each other as our "journey friend". We have literally done everything in our adult lives together, at least for the last 4 years or so. First of all, we are both twins (such a cool bond that only twins can truly understand). We started dating our now-husbands within the same week, got engaged about two months apart, got married exactly two weeks apart, started having infertility struggles at the same time (what a blessing to have each other through that), among many other similarities (we even both have partial hearing loss in our left ear...weird!!!) and LOTS of trials we have walked through together. So naturally we thought that God would allow us to get pregnant together too. We prayed and prayed that would happen because we thought it would be a dream for our children to grow up together and be the kind of special friends that Julie and I are. In the end, that didn't happen. Julie was blessed with her sweet Elliana (her name means "God has answered"...He sure did!!!). She gave birth to her the week after we got back from Haiti last year! I went to visit at the hospital the day after she was born. Julie and I were all emotional (for multiple reasons of course). We were praising God for this precious gift for their family and yet we were sad because we really thought we'd be doing it together. As I held Ellie that day, I cried because I, too, was desperately longing to be a mother and wondered how long it would be before that prayer was answered. I remember asking God why he didn't let us do THIS together too!?!

Well, NOW WE KNOW that as we were doubting, OUR GREAT GOD was working! On that very day...the day I held Julie's one day old daughter in my arms and cried out to God...WHY???..

OUR SON WAS BORN!!!!"
