So yesterday was day 3 of Jonah's diarrhea. He was going so much I felt like I was constantly changing diapers. This smell will haunt me for the rest of my life.... Last night, Jonah vomited twice and I started to get worried. The first I did this morning was call the Doctor. The nurse said to bring him in right away.
After a checkup Dr. Daisy told me that if he continues to vomit I will have to go to the hospital so he can get hooked up to an IV. In the meantime, I needed to keep checking his temperature and feed him pedilyte.
Right before I took him to the doctors I nursed him. Usually he has diarrhea within 5 minutes of feeding. It's 3 hours later and no dirty diaper. I even fed him when we got home. He also has not vomited or even spit up since he woke up. So I remain optimistic that he's getting better today and we will not be going to the hospital.
We also have made the decision to put Jonah in day care starting in Febuary for three days a week for only a half day (12-6pm). Jed will have practices starting and I'll still be in the midst of Dance Motion. We have a meeting with Bright Horizons some time next week. We do not know the cost yet, so keep that in your prayers. We hope it's something we can afford. We will stop daycare at the end of April.
