Ok, so most of you know my struggles with breastfeeding. Well yesterday I said I was throwing in the towel (like I've said time and time again), but decided to pump that night. I couldn't get Jonah to stay latched because of his sore gums. The next morning I woke up with Mastitis. UGH!!!!!!! and ouch... immediately I felt nauseous and broke out into a cold sweat. I felt the lump in my left breast. So painful.
I've avoided plugged ducts until now. Figures. The only remedy is to keep nursing and pumping. I got Jonah out of the crib when he woke up and tried to feed him. That little bugger bit down and pulled back!!!! OH MY HEAVENLY JESUS!!!!!!! OWWWWWWWWW! I yelled at him and immediately he started to cry. I calmed him down and try again. SAME THING! Bit down and pulled. He has the sharpest teeth. So needless to say.... I'm done trying to nurse. I pumped several times today, but it's still so sore.
